My amazing Race

The first season of Race Around the World was subject of an Australian Story last week. The show was a life changer for me, and it rekindled great memories.

‘What, you were actually on this show?’ my ten year old Alice asks, pointing to the screen. ‘You were on this?’

The ‘you’ is in italics because it is said in italics. There’s definitely a note of disbelief, sprinkled with pre-teen pride.
