‘The pancakes don’t taste the same’

Jack and his musical carer and friend Daemos Griffin wrote me a song.

I cook the pancakes for the kids most Saturday mornings. I’m at Doha airport now, on the way home, but won’t make pancake day.

jack wrote a song for me with his long time musical friend, carer and collaborator Daemos Griffin. Daemos is a phenomenal talent. He regularly works up multi instrumental songs in one or two sessions, with Jack chipping in with themes, characters and lyrics. They’ve been at it, once or twice a week, for eight years.

This week’s song was ‘Missing You’, which Jack wanted to write for me.

Actually he wrote it when I’d been away 48 hours.

It’s nice to be loved!
